This solo-single subject features the Chesapeake Bay Skipjack "The Helen Virginia" set upon the expanse of the Tangier Sound north of Deal Island. The direct sunlight shows off one of the more favorable angles of the Helen Virginia that despite her age and condition, that she is still a magnificent and beautiful vessel. The clouds added a wonderful dramatic element to an otherwise very simple, elegant photograph.
