"Following the Fleet" is another image that was taken in a style heavily influenced by A. Aubrey Bodine by Jacklyn Brower during the 2023 Deal Island Skipjack Races. This shot captures nine of the eleven participating Chesapeake Bay Skipjacks with a dramatic black and white sky, punchy contrast, and absolutely timeless charisma. This image became an instant favorite of ours here at Gallery 1113 as well as of Jacklyn. This image is of so much importance to the artist that this is the first of this collection that was printed and hung in her home (11x17, arctic white mat, and the 1364 distressed gray washed frame).
